Tazio Nuvolari, the "Flying Mantuan"

Tazio Nuvolari, the "Flying Mantuan", racing the Scuderia Ferrari Alfa Romeo Tipo C 12C-37 in the 1937 Vanderbilt Cup Race. He had won the 1936 edition.
He sadly dropped out with engine trouble.

Pen&ink and acrylic markers on 11.5"x 8.25 brown parchment.

Zagato Dreams

1930 Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 GS Zagato and 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ1 Zagato

I received special permission from Zagato to add their logo in my art for their 100th Anniversary celebration in 2019.

Alfa Romeo is the celebrated mark at the Historic Festival 44 at Lime Rock Park.

I'll be attending, live-sketching many of the beauties that I will find there.
